Supported Living at Oakbridge is a specialist service designed to support people with dementia and their families. Although the Lodge is registered as a Care Home it is very definitely a Care Home with a difference!! Our somewhat unique design features, unprecedented facilities, outstanding services and skilled care support team combine to make a profound difference to the quality of life of all residents, particularly those with dementia such as Alzheimer's Disease or Vascular Dementia.

As each resident has their own apartment at the Lodge it means that couples are able to remain together rather than separating at this crucial stage in their life. The staff are able to support the carer to continue with the care giving role by providing practical, social and emotional support as and when required.
Having worked with Stirling University who are the market leaders in dementia friendly design, Individual apartments are to allow residents to function as independently as possible in a safe, secure and familiar environment. Each suite has its own lounge, bathroom and kitchen facility. And each community has a country kitchen and lounge area to promote interaction.
Exclusive to Oakbridge is the innovative and self contained Market Square with its potting shed, village pub, cinema, pet store, hair and beauty salon, tea shop, corner shop and bakery designed to evoke pleasant memories and provide gentle reminders of everyday living. This safe and stimulating environment is a great place for social interaction and an ideal venue for any number of activities and events.
